A Son's Bad Dream
One week later, the man again goes into his son's room to wish him goodnight. His son is having another nightmare - the man again wakes his son. The son this time says that he had dreamt that granddaddy had died. The father assures the son that granddaddy is fine and sends him to bed.
The next day, granddaddy dies.

The man goes to bed but cannot sleep because he is so terrified. The next day, the man is scared for his life- he is sure he is going to die. After dressing he drives very cautiously to work fearful of a collision. He doesn't eat lunch because he is scared of food poisoning. He avoids everyone for he is sure he will somehow be killed. He jumps at every noise, starts at every movement and hides under his desk.
Upon walking in his front door, he finds his wife. "Good God Dear" he proclaims, "I've just had the worst day of my entire life!
She responds, "You think your day was bad, the milkman dropped dead on the doorstep this morning."
This is good one...Lidya..The story is really interesting and Funny..

DeleteThank you Lidya, for an interesting story.I want to say that I have never seen nightmare. For example for me nightmare is when I don't ready for an exam or I go to the musical school and can't play the piano, and I see such dreams usually. But many times I have seen dreams when they came true. It is very amazing, when you have already known what will be after.:)

I was thinking this man realizing the truth was happy or was upset. Maybe, at first he was happy, then got upset that he didn't die:))) Anyway, I liked this story, it was funny.
ReplyDeleteAnd about the nightmares and dreams that come true..., I have already told about it in my comment to the article "The Secret of Our Dreams". I usually don't have nightmares and my dreams are usually positive. Even when I have a bad dream it doesn’t bother me, because my dreams never come true.

ReplyDeleteMy nightmares are a little bit different, than this boys dreams, but I dont wont to talk about it. Actually I believe in mystique of dreams. Anithing, that I cant explain arousing interest for me.
P.S I think, that in the future, this boy shouldn't talk abouit his nightmares with anyone :))
Hi everyone!!! Reading the last sentence of this story I think as Roza, the news was as very good as very bad. I think this man was in very difficult situation))) I have never seen nightmares, or I have seen, but in the morning I have not remembered it)) Sometimes when I woke up in the morning I was in a bad mood, I think at that night maybe in my dream I had seen nightmares.

Very funny article. I read it with pleasure. Sometimes in my dreams I sow people which I have not seen a lot of time and I meet these people on the next day. When I look horror films I see the horror dreams., but there are always funny, and I never care about it. Sometims I cry in my dreams,when I sow dead people. Ani always wakes me up and I take her hand and continue to sleep.

Actually my dreams don't come true , but you know, I can make them true. For example recently I saw a dream, in which I bought a variety of tasty cakes. In the morning, when I got up, the first thing I did were buying delicious cakes.
Sometimes I see nightmares as any one.I don't know why, but in my nightmares as a rule I appear in a jail. Someone accuses me of a murder and I'm crying and I'm lonely in a terrible place. Great !! Happily, I never focus on them, as a rule they make me laugh.

Bad and scary nightmares always bothers and annoyed me.
